Australia’s favourite muesli brand, Carman’s, introduces two new recipes perfectly suited for Australia’s obsession with Bircher.
The new Carman’s Untoasted Apricot, Peach and Coconut Muesli is made from high quality Aussie oats, scrumptious bursts of apricot and peach, along with crunchy coconut, while the Natural Berry Bircher Muesli sees a medley of berries blended in with blackcurrant infused-barley, turning the muesli a stunning shade of pink.
“We have seen an increase in the demand for more muesli varieties from our consumers, especially natural, untoasted options” said Carolyn Creswell, the founder of Carman’s.
With 1 in 5 households purchasing natural muesli, the average spend of the convenient breakfast option has jumped 10% in the last two years. It’s no wonder Australia continues to be the number one country searching for the term ‘Bircher Muesli’ on Google.
In recent time, Bircher has rediscovered its popularity as a featured breakfast on the menus of trendy cafes across the country, popular with children and adults alike. But the secret is out – it’s just as easy to create at home.

As the two flavours hit shelves nationally, Carman’s has also released a new Bircher Muesli eBook, The Best of Bircher, which anyone can download. With 8 curated Bircher recipes, as well as great tips and tricks, the book proves that a little preparation can go a long way in the morning.
